The DACH Regulatory Clock

Two clocks are running: the EU’s and Switzerland’s. Every dated, non-optional obligation for crypto and fintech firms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland — in one place.

Switzerland is not under MiCA. AMINA-style crypto-banks and Swiss fintechs run on the FINMA / AMLA-CH / TLPA track. Treating Swiss firms as MiCA entities is the most common error in DACH compliance commentary — the two columns below are two different clocks.

Method & corrections

Dates are re-verified from primary or reputable public sources on every monthly update; each entry links its source. Items marked indicative have no final calendar date yet; ⚠ marks rules still in consultation. Two often-misstated facts, stated plainly: the MiCA hard stop was1 July 2026 and could not be extended by any member state; AMLA does not directly supervise anyone before 2028 — “AMLA 2026” was never a thing. Spotted an error? Tell me — corrections are published, not buried.
